Thanksgiving Week

We are back in Hood River after our thanksgiving adventures in Lake Oswego with the Woolf fam. Kevin spent two long weekends with us but had to return to work a few days in between. Hazel, my mom, and I cohabitated for a record breaking ten days. We all helped each other get through a big week; going through dad's stuff, preparing for thanksgiving dinner, selling my dad's practice, filling out countless paper work..The motto of the week was, "keep moving even when you are crying." We made it outside and walked every day which lifted all of our spirits and of course spent lots of time admiring little bean. My mom's charriot stroller proved to be magical, Hazel fell instantly asleep every time she got into it. We ran, walked and biked in glorious weather (i'm still waiting for the wet, dark, Oregon days). Hazel kept stimulated with all of our adventures. We visited my dad's office a couple of times to chat with loyal patients and staff (they dressed her up in a crazy blue hat). We visited Julia's kindergarten class for lunch. Perhaps most stimulating to Hazel however were all of the days she spent with her cousins and aunt and uncle. Jordan and Jack loved playing with a real baby doll and Hazel loved watching all of the excitement.
