Hawk Watch Migration Site

The Haspela pack discovered a Hawk Watch migration site this weekend up on Mt. Hood. We didn't end up seeing that many raptors (1 bald eagle, and 2 red-tailed hawks) but we did get to see up close and personal a Cooper's Hawk. They had luckily just caught the hawk in the mist net moments before we arrived. The Cooper's Hawk eyes were an incredible yellow and black. We were all captivated by his beauty. We are super excited to have discovered this special spot and will definitely return earlier in the season next year.
