Catch up....

It has certainly been a long time since we have posted anything on this blog. New baby, fall soccer schedule, and a few loads of laundry seem to be filling all of our spare time lately. Life is great as a family of four. Two little people in our lives has put us immediately in the moment. Our life is a series of moments in fact all strung together. Many of which are filled with laughter and happiness and some that are pure insanity and filled with stress and a bit anxiety. Many times when friends ask what I've done earlier in the day I honestly can not remember a thing but the very present moment. I have no idea what this means, other than never before in my life have I ever been so present.

I've been avoiding the blog mainly because I feel like there is just too much to catch up on since we last posted. But really I just want to focus on the now. Like today......today was a beautiful fall day. The tapestry of colors were gorgeous-blue sky, red, yellow, orange leaves. Our landscaping project from the summer is paying off right now. I LOVE watching the Aspen leaves change colors. Wednesday is Kindermusik day. Our favorite day of the week. Hazel, Catherine and I go to music class once a week and it is a hoot. Picture five toddlers sitting on their moms lap in a circle singing songs, doing circle dances and running around the room to music. Let me rewrite that picture actually, picture all children but Hazel sitting on their mom's lap. For the last four classes Hazel has become very independent in class. Turns out she is quite the student. She loves class and loves sitting by herself and doing everything on her own. To be honest I get a bit lonely at music class lately-until of course Catherine calls for my attention. The last two classes Hazel has chosen to sit two parents away from me and hold hands with her buddy Skylar. In any other public situation I have been in with Hazel she is shy and very quiet. It has been so much fun to see a gregarious side to Hazel emerge. I'll try to get some video footage soon. Hazel is kind of a mix between the class clown and teachers pet all in one at music. It is hilarious to watch. Other than music class I don't remember anything else we did today..oh yes Hazel and I have been enjoying watching Catherine master rolling over. She is very focused on this activity currently. She just can't seem to get enough of it. She loves going from back to belly and is starting to figure out how to return to her back from belly. Catherine is becoming much more interactive and it is a lot of fun to watch the two sisters cuddle and giggle at each other. This will only get more fun. We also skyped with Lisa, Mike, and Maddie tonight which inspired us to get back on the blog wagon.
